About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support electronics and PCB-based manufacturing operations within a defense and aerospace environment. This role will focus on manufacturing process development, production optimization, PFMEA creation, MES support, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting PCB/PCBA assembly processes, manufacturing execution systems, and Lean manufacturing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacturing Process Development
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes and procedures
• Create work instructions and process documentation
• Support new product introduction and manufacturability reviews
• Ensure compliance with quality and customer requirements
• Electronics Manufacturing Support
• Support PCB and electronic assembly manufacturing operations
• Optimize assembly and test processes
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and bottlenecks
• Improve production throughput and efficiency
• MES & Factory Systems
• Support Manufacturing Execution System (MES) activities
• Develop and maintain manufacturing routings
• Support electronic work instructions and production tracking
• Experience with Aegis FactoryLogix highly preferred
• Quality & Risk Management
• Create and maintain:
• PFMEAs
• Process documentation
• Manufacturing standards
• Partner with Quality teams to resolve production issues
• Support corrective and preventive actions
• Continuous Improvement
• Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives
• Support Six Sigma projects
• Drive waste reduction and process optimization
• Improve quality, cycle times, and manufacturing efficiency

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in:

• Manufacturing Engineering
• Industrial Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Related Engineering Discipline

Required Experience

• 5+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience
• Electronics manufacturing experience
• PCB / PCBA manufacturing experience
• PFMEA development experience
• MES system experience
• Process development experience
• Work instruction creation experience

Preferred Experience

• Aegis FactoryLogix
• Defense manufacturing

• AS9100 environments
• ITAR-regulated environments

• Duration: 6 Months Strong possibility of extension/conversion
