What You'll Do
\n

- Manage the purchasing process across assigned products and categories
- Source materials and products and create and manage purchase orders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Monitor open orders, production schedules, shipments, and delivery timelines to help ensure materials and products are available when needed
- Analyze demand and purchasing needs to support inventory planning and replenishment
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and other supplier requirements
- Resolve supplier, receiving, and invoice-related discrepancies
- Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities to improve cost, quality, service, and overall performance
- Support sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, and cost-reduction efforts
- Track purchasing activity and order status within the company's ERP system
- Work collaboratively with internal teams across operations, sales, project management, customer service, and other business functions
- Identify and proactively communicate potential product or material availability issues

What We're Looking For
\n
- \n
- 2-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, buying, or a related supply chain function
- Experience managing the purchasing process from sourcing through order placement, supplier follow-up, and delivery
- Strong supplier relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills
- Experience working with an ERP or MRP system
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with inventory planning, forecasting, purchasing analytics, or supplier performance is a plus
- Experience purchasing materials, components, or finished goods is preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing or product-based environment is a plus, but candidates with strong transferable purchasing experience are encouraged to apply
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with purchasing analytics are a plus
