Our client is looking for a skilled Senior Control Engineer to join a high-performing automation team developing and supporting next-generation production equipment for cutting-edge industries like aerospace, AI, automotive, and more.
In this role, you will:

Design and implement control systems for new and existing in-house automation equipment

Develop electrical schematics, specify components, and integrate machine-to-network communication

Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, servo controls, vision systems (Cognex), and robotics (6-Axis and SCARA)

Lead or support automation projects from concept through deployment, balancing short-term support with long-term improvements

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and optimize performance

Provide hands-on support for control systems including VFDs, pneumatics, sensors, and motion controllers

Create documentation including BOMs, user manuals, wiring diagrams, and system layouts

Maintain compliance with electrical safety and industry standards (NFPA, OSHA)

Contribute to capital equipment projects and research emerging technologies in automation and vision systems
What You Bring:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering

5+ years of experience in manufacturing automation

Proficiency in PLC/HMI programming, robot and servo control, and electrical design

Strong experience in troubleshooting and optimizing control systems

Familiarity with CAD tools and standard office software

Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-driven mindset
