Plant Accountant – Join Our Team!
Location: Littleton, NH (Relocation Assistance Provided)
Duration: Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 annually with benefits

What You’ll Do:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Plant Accountant to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will play a key part in driving profitability and supporting operational decision-making by performing in-depth variance analysis and financial reporting. Roles and Responsibilities:
• Oversee annual budgeting and month-end forecasts, creating and presenting reports to corporate stakeholders.
• Conduct and root-cause production variance and aging work order analysis, develop corrective actions, and communicate results to management.
• Serve as primary approver for all plant expenses while identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
• Collaborate with the legal team to manage site contracts.
• Partner with departments to develop and present capital project proposals.
• Assist with ad-hoc Accounts Payable tasks.
• Lead the site’s annual physical inventory.
• Perform and analyze inventory variance, develop corrective actions, and obtain corporate approval for adjustments.
• Work with the central accounting team to manage fixed asset acquisition, maintenance, and disposals.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with SOX and internal controls; act as site lead for several corporate controls.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and routine reporting to the Plant Manager and operations team.
Experience & Skills:
• 2+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment with a fully integrated ERP system (preferably SAP).
• BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Previous experience leading group projects.
• Strong Excel proficiency required.
• Highly organized and able to perform effectively under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex accounting concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
