Organization: Support to Succeed
Support to Succeed is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting career entry & advancement of nontraditional candidates into financial services careers. Our model supports qualified adults from alternative pathways to pass an industry-recognized certification that can lead to client-facing finance careers. We focus on utilizing principles of restorative practices to foster a sense of belonging among cohorts, providing coaching on organization and time management, providing support for trainees to navigate barriers, and academic supports that foster critical thinking skills.
Program: SIE Success Program
This program is a collaboration between Support to Succeed, Holyoke Community College, and Springfield WORKS. It is a 16-week program that supports candidates through an industry-recognized licensing exam and provides career development and employer connections.
Dates and Hours Per Week:
- Up to 20 hours per week for a 6 month contract, with anticipated 15 hrs / week and certain time periods when additional hours may be needed
- Hours can be flexibly scheduled with the exception of evening cohort meetings, supervisor meeting, and team meeting

Job Title: Program Manager
Hourly Rate: $35

Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and facilitate evening cohort meetings (~4 hours per week + ~2 hrs planning) for a group of 10-20 adults ages 22 - 45
- Support candidates to coordinate study sessions
- Lead asynchronous communication with cohort via Discord and email
- Recruit and coordinate guest speakers for sessions
- Coach a small group of candidates on planning and time management towards progressing in exam preparation
- Oversee a team of volunteers who provide coaching to candidates
- Coordinate career readiness deliverables, including resume book development
- Facilitate candidate interviews and other admissions procedures in collaboration with others
- Track exam preparation and career readiness data and lead weekly meeting on key performance indicators
- Work with coaches to provide interventions and assist candidates to overcome barriers, including overseeing trainee support fund
- Integrate learnings and update the model in collaboration with leadership
- Participate in meetings to regularly update staff & leadership
Candidate Requirements:
- Prior experience with program facilitation or program management; comfort leading groups in a virtual setting
- Prior coaching experience and strong relationship-building, empathy, and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self-starter; ability to manage own time and independently meet deliverables
- Finance experience is NOT required
