Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable Material Handlers to join the team in Worcester, MA. In this role, you will handle daily stocking, material movement, picking, and packing operations to keep our warehouse running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Move, load, and unload freight, stock, and materials safely using hand trucks, pallets, and manual handling equipment.
- Pick, check, pack, and stage outgoing customer orders for truck pickup.
- Sort cargo, mark containers with identifying tags, and stack goods securely using padding, bracing, or strapping to prevent damage.
- Transfer inventory between receiving, raw stock rooms, backrooms, and upper storage areas.
- Utilize daily production sheets or RF scanners to log and track units moved.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and ensure packing supplies and boxes are stocked.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0–1+ years of general warehouse, stockroom, or material handling experience.
- International Shipping Experience: Highly preferred for the Contract-to-Hire opening.
- RF Scanner Experience: Preferred (familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems is a strong plus).
- Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and ability to follow verbal/written directions.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet daily deadlines.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
- Ability to stand and walk on your feet for the duration of the 8-hour shift.
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a standard warehouse environment (some areas are not climate-controlled).
