\nTGM Inventory Coordinator will commute to Hospital customer sites within the city of Boston, MA managing customer service relationships and handling distribution and inventory of Airgas Cylinders on Medical Center premises.\n
\n
\nMaintain cylinder gas inventory par levels in consultation with the customer.\n
\n
\nSupport seasonal adjustments to inventory levels. Place and process orders through the Air Gas.com/SAP system.\n
\n
\nDocument cylinder gas inventory usages using either Google forms or Google sheets.\n
\n
\nEnsure the separation of empties from full and in use cylinders.\n
\n
\nRotate all non-specialty gasses products every 30 days.\n
\n
\nPerform scheduled rounds to maintain par levels at all locations within the facility.\n
\n
\nPickup and return empty cylinders to storage area(s) to insure return to production facility.\n
\n
\nCoordinate and welcome cylinder gas deliveries to insure accurate delivery documentation.\n
\n
\nChange out gas/liquid cylinder manifolds at the service sites. Align with all applicable facility guidelines and procedures, as well as all applicable Airgas Standards and regulatory guidelines including, but not limited to: SAFECOR, HS&E, MQCT, CGMP, OSHA, etc.\n
\n
\nDeliver on team objectives as per existing procedure.\n
\n
\nMake initial evaluations and then collaborate to obtain proper assistance when confronted with problem situations.\n
\n
\nRespond to emergency situations to ensure uninterrupted supply of product.\n
\n
\nConduct cylinder audits at specified intervals. Provide inventory usage reports to the hospital.\n
\n
\nPartner with the local accounts payable department to ensure accurate billing and timely payment.\n
\n
\nGuardian of the safety of all persons, and general public surrounding facilities. Safety is a core value we all share and protect.\n
\n
\nActively collaborate with the local safety department to insure hospital personnel properly handle and store medical gas products.\n
\n
\nSubmit any Good Catch incidents to your manager/customer as they occur.\n
\n

\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\n
\n
\nStrong customer service orientation skills to act as a single source for all customer requirements.\n
\n
\nSelf-motivated and ability to work effectively without supervision. \n

\nThorough understanding of cylinder gasses and safe handling methods. \n
\n
\nAble to understand and abide by stringent safety rules\n
\n
\nAnnual Immunizations such as TB screening and Flu Shot are client requirements.\n
\n
\nIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)\n
\n
\nKnowledge of record keeping and documentation and be able to utilize the Airgas system to place orders and monitor cylinder balances. \n
\n
\nAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. \n
\n
\nAbility to write routine business reports and business correspondence in English. \n
\n
\nAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees and/or customers. \n
\n
\nAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. \n
\n
\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals using the English language.\n
\n
\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. \n
\n
\nAbility to compute rate, ratio, and percentages.\n
\n
\nThis position will also require travel up to 50% for vacation coverages at other facilities.\n
\n

\nAbility to lift 25 pounds routinely.\n

\nAbility to push and pull loads weighing up to 500 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.\n
\n
\nMust be able to drive a forklift or willing to learn\n
\n
\nAbility to talk and hear co-workers, as well as smell/hear leaking gas from cylinders.\n
\n
\nSpecific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.\n
\n
\nAbility to read and transfer numbers accurately.\n
