Job DescriptionLocation: Must be able to commute daily to Boston and surrounding towns.Compensation: Full-time, $30/hourApplication Deadline: October 10, 2026 About Pathway BioMedXPathway BioMedX (PBX) provides hands-on STEM, biomedical science, and health sciences education for middle and high school students, combining academic learning with practical laboratory experiences. Ideal Candidate ProfileThis role is ideal for someone with a strong science background and a passion for STEM education, combined with sales, marketing, and community engagement experience. The ideal candidate should be confident communicating scientific concepts and able to clearly and enthusiastically describe PBX’s curriculum and program offerings to students, parents, educators, and school administrators. Key Responsibilities
- Visit private and public schools to promote PBX programs and recruit students.
- Conduct engaging show-and-tell presentations and program demonstrations.
- Attend back-to-school nights, school fairs, and community events.
- Distribute brochures and promotional materials in targeted communities.
- Build relationships and develop partnerships with schools.
- Create advertising campaigns for Fall programs.
- Follow up with prospective families and convert leads into registrations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a science-related field.
- Sales and marketing experience, preferably in education sales or student recruitment.
- Experience engaging with schools, students, and families.
- Strong communication, presentation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Must be based in the Boston area and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have reliable transportation for school and community outreach.
- This is an in-person, business-hours role requiring regular travel throughout the Greater Boston area.
