On first shift, you’ll be the go-to pro who prevents downtime and restores throughput—fast. When production calls, you’ll bring a mix of hands-on skill, sharp diagnostics, and a calm, methodical approach.
You will
- Lead preventive and corrective maintenance with minimal oversight to maximize equipment availability.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls faults using prints, schematics, layouts, and specs.
- Enhance equipment and processes; collaborate with manufacturing engineering and assist on production/assembly to maintain flow.
- Support installation, qualification, debugging, and repair of Production and Development machinery.
- Procure parts and components necessary for maintenance activities.
- Fabricate or modify mechanical parts and production fixtures as required.
- Act as liaison with service contractors and vendors.
- Own the performance of semi-automated systems and verify proper operation.
- Track machine/process health and adjust equipment or parameters to eliminate nonconformances, low yields, and quality issues.
- Coach peers on equipment setup and advanced repair techniques.
- Document tasks, PM findings, and corrective actions in the CMMS.
- Handle other related duties as assigned.
Schedule and flexibility
- First-shift position.
- Willingness to flex hours to support PMs, production overtime, and business needs.
Preferred background
- Industrial control systems familiarity, including troubleshooting and repairing PLC‑related problems.
What you bring
- High School/Vocational Tech diploma (required); Associate’s in a related engineering/technical field (preferred).
- Analytical troubleshooting mindset and strong mechanical/technical aptitude.
- Ability to read technical drawings/prints and create clear technical documentation.
- Computer literacy aligned with job demands.
- High initiative and a strong work ethic.
Earnings
Pay is determined holistically, considering skills, experience, training, certifications/licensure, and current organizational priorities.
