We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Production Planner/Scheduler to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this pivotal role, you will be the central hub for ensuring the smooth and timely flow of production for our passive microwave components. You will leverage our SAP MRP system to plan, execute, and expedite work orders, collaborating across departments to solve problems and guarantee on-time delivery to our customers. Core Responsibilities

Plan and schedule the completion of work orders and coordinate outside services using the SAP MRP system.

Maintain and update the shipment plan, proactively reporting on project status, Work-In-Progress (WIP), material shortages, and potential production bottlenecks.

Collaborate daily with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, and Inventory Control to resolve issues and keep production on track.

Expedite the movement of parts on the production floor and support shipping/logistics activities to ensure commitments are met.

Ensure all necessary personnel, equipment, materials, and services are available as needed to fulfill the production schedule.
Basic Qualifications

Option 1: High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years of related experience in scheduling, material planning, manufacturing, or inventory control.

Option 2: Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of related experience in scheduling, material planning, manufacturing, or inventory control.

Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook) and SAP or a similar ERP/MRP system.

Strong ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Physical ability to regularly lift up to 45 lbs and move material within the manufacturing facility.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a job shop or make-to-order manufacturing environment.

Demonstrated skill in setting priorities, multitasking, and dynamically re-prioritizing as schedule demands change.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.

A proven track record of managing multiple competing priorities in a deadline-driven setting.
