About the Job
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Technical Product Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the subject matter expert for our products, bridging the gap between product development, sales, marketing, and customer support. You will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet market needs and deliver exceptional value to our customers.
Responsibilities
o Work closely with sales and management to drive sales enablement tasks including but not limited to internal training sessions for sales and service; working with sales to build internal/external collateral; supporting customer meetings and tracking performance of product launches.
o Maintain expertise in understanding USM’s products, clients and competitors. Make recommendations on what areas of the business to improve upon based on this expertise.
o Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, create business cases, and project plans to be executed.
o Collaborate with different individuals in the company to spearhead the definition, planning and implementation of multiple product improvement initiatives.
o Perform market research as needed to support product related strategies.
o Proactively and efficiently resolve concerns while navigating organizational dynamics.
o Represent USM effectively to both internal and external stakeholders, including presentations and giving directions where needed.
o Perform other duties as assigned.
GENERAL
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills. Basic PC skills (MS Office), neat and professional appearance
Position based in Auburn, NH with estimated 20-30% overnight travel.
