We are seeking a detail-oriented Personal Lines Insurance Agent to join our tight-knit team in Winchendon, MA.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Advisory: Promptly answer incoming client inquiries via telephone and email, providing expert guidance tailored to individual and small business needs.
New Business Writing: Evaluate client risk, prepare accurate quotes, and write new personal lines policies (Auto, Homeowners, Renters, Umbrella, etc.).
Account Servicing: Manage, maintain, and update existing client policies, handling endorsements, policy renewals, and billing questions.
System Management: Utilize CRM software and policy management systems for seamless client tracking, documentation, and workflow efficiency.
Regulatory Compliance: Adhere strictly to industry regulations, carrier guidelines, and Massachusetts RMV standards across all policy and service workflows.

Qualifications

Required:

Valid Massachusetts Producer’s License for Auto and Homeowners insurance.
Strong working knowledge of Massachusetts RMV regulations and registration procedures.

Preferred Skills & Attributes:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Hands-on experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and agency management systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
Solid understanding of insurance regulatory compliance standards.
Effective time-management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

We are an independent agent, utilizing companies such as Safety Insurance, Concord Group, and Travelers. Located in downtown Winchendon Massachusetts, we offer an in person customer facing service that encourages our clients to stop in and meet with us directly for anything from quotes, to reviewing coverage, and even making payments.
