lectric Motor Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the repair, maintenance, disassembly, and reassembly of electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, and related rotating equipment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, and rotating electrical equipment
- Disassemble and inspect motors to identify worn or damaged components
- Perform mechanical repairs, including bearing replacement, shaft work, and component replacement
- Clean, test, and reassemble electric motors according to specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively
- Perform electrical and mechanical testing as needed
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and work performed
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work independently as well as part of a team to complete jobs efficiently and accurately
Qualifications
- Previous experience repairing or rebuilding electric motors preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and technical information
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment safely
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
