Our client is seeking a Senior Logistics Specialist to support shipping, receiving, transportation coordination, and inventory control in a regulated environment. This role is ideal for an experienced logistics professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, compliance‑driven operation and is comfortable working a 2nd‑shift schedule with extended hours through year‑end.

Work Schedule: Mon–Fri, 3PM–11:30PM 2nd Shift
Responsibilities:
- Train and support logistics team members and new hires.
- Track KPIs, analyze logistics data, and report performance metrics.
- Coordinate pickups, deliveries, and transportation with carriers and vendors.
- Support warehouse operations, tooling tracking, and related logistics functions.
- Oversee custom crating and packaging for sensitive medical device equipment.
- Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to improve logistics workflows.
- Investigate shipping delays, damages, and non‑conformances; implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with domestic/international shipping regulations, customs, and HAZMAT requirements.
- Maintain accurate shipping, cost, and tracking records; support cycle counts and audits.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation (bills of lading, packing slips, compliance forms)
Qualifications/Must Haves:
- Forklift experience required.
- High school or equivalent required.
- DOT and IATA certifications (preferred)
- Experience handling HAZMAT shipments (preferred)
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, SYSPRO, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience in shipping/logistics, preferably in medical device or regulated manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of domestic/international shipping regulations and trade compliance.
