Company Description Three Fins Coffee Roasters operates a coffeehouse and roastery in West Dennis, where traditional espresso drinks and freshly roasted beans are served, and a coffeehouse and Cacao Factory in Chatham, MA. Three Fins offers online sales, a subscription service, and wholesale products to cafés, restaurants, grocers, retailers, and other businesses. The team also provides coffee and cacao classes for education and enjoyment, creating opportunities for guests to learn more about specialty-grade beverages and chocolate. The environment emphasizes craft, community, and sustainable sourcing.

Role Description The Barista is a part-time, on-site role.

The barista’s job is to be the welcoming host to the day and make specialty drinks to Three Fins recipes. You must enjoy coffee, have excellent customer service skills & enjoy working with the public.

To achieve success you must do the following:

Preparing and serve hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees and teas

Prepare and serving food items such as pastries

Operating coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders and brewers

Provide a pleasant, inviting, and attentive service for customers

Show respect and support to co-workers

Maintain a working knowledge of coffee and food offerings, serving each with thought and consideration

focus your attention on maintaining the vibe and prioritizing tasks that directly affect this

restock supplies to maintain the flow and efficient service we strive for

responsibly handle the register and end of day cashing out the till

taking on cleaning projects to help maintain our building and space, keeping all shared storage spaces organized, tidy & clean

regularly attend company meetings and trainings

Once trained, consistently serve espresso drinks that mirror the high standards we set in all other areas
