Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to fill a leave of absence at an elementary school in Amherst, MA. This contract role involves supporting students from kindergarten through 4th grade, providing essential speech and language services to help improve their communication skills.

Responsibilities include delivering direct therapy to students in small groups, one-on-one settings, or within an inclusion classroom. The SLP will conduct evaluations for IEP eligibility, participate in IEP meetings, write goals, monitor, and document student progress. The position demands collaboration with educators and families to support each child's educational journey.

Qualifications and experience desired:

  • Valid SLP credentials and certification (CCC preferred)
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children
