Job Description

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Operates and maintains proper operation for the treatment plant to control flow and adjustment of valves.
Perform daily inspection of treatment plant probes, pumps, filters, tanks, and controllers.
Observes variations in operating conditions and interprets meter and gauge readings and test results to determine proper requirements. Periodic calibration of analytical instrumentation required.
Provide proper records of the plant as well as discharge levels
Collect weekly samples for lab analysis.
Record daily readings of the treatment plant as well as daily water meter readings in specific areas throughout the production facility.
Maintain proper inventory of chemicals
Additional duties may be required

Skills/Qualifications:

Proficient in the use of tools necessary in the repair, installation and troubleshooting of equipment.
Must be computer literate.
One to three years similar work experience in the operation and maintenance of a high volume wastewater treatment facility.
Must have and maintain a Massachusetts grade 4 wastewater license or higher.
