Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to perform setup, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical assemblies and electronic components in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with soldering, interpreting schematics, and conducting inspections to ensure high-quality production and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform setup, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of components, instruments, and assemblies.
- Assemble, test, and troubleshoot printed wiring assemblies and subassemblies.
- Perform soldering and rework when necessary.
- Interpret and follow technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Conduct functional testing and root cause analysis for failed devices.
- Prepare detailed failure reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineers and team members to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Follow in-process inspection procedures and complete required documentation.
- Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives across production teams.
- Follow all company safety programs and procedures, including lockout/tagout and fall protection.
- Work occasional overtime as required to meet production deadlines or resolve issues.
Requirements:
- Two-year Technical Degree or four-year Vocational High School Diploma (Electronics or related field).
- Experience in electronic assembly, testing, or troubleshooting.
- Soldering experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
