Freezer Shipper / Forklift Operator
Location: Malden, MA
Shift: 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM
Languages: English & Spanish
$19 to $21 per hour depending on experience
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Freezer Shipper / Forklift Operator to support overnight warehouse operations in a temperature-controlled freezer environment. This role is responsible for safely operating forklifts, preparing shipments, and ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely in a freezer environment
- Load, unload, and move product within the warehouse
- Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment
- Verify product quantities and ensure accuracy of shipments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the freezer and work areas
- Follow all safety, food handling, and company procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Requirements:
- Forklift experience required (certification preferred)
- Ability to work in freezer temperatures for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse tasks
- Basic math and organizational skills
- Reliable attendance and ability to work overnight hours
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Work Environment:
- Freezer/cold storage setting
- Overnight shift (9PM–5AM)
- Fast-paced warehouse environment
