About the Organization:
Lucy and Jane is a matcha brand built on care, consistency, and creativity. As we gear up for our seasonal pop-up at The Current in Seaport, we’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Kitchen Supervisor to lead production at our commissary kitchen in Worcester.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys leading a small team, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen setting, and takes pride in getting the details right—from the first mix to the final fry.

Shift & Commitment:

  • Schedule:
    4:00 AM – 12:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
    Must be available at least 4–5 days a week

  • Paid Training:
    4–5 days before launch (approx. 4-6 hours/day)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and donut production

  • Train and lead team members on prep, frying, filling, and packaging

  • Ensure efficiency, cleanliness, and food safety throughout the shift

  • Perform inventory checks and communicate order needs to the manager

  • Coordinate with ingredient vendors and handle delivery intake/storage

  • Monitor donut quality and consistency before packaging for transport

  • Work alongside the team to ensure orders are ready for Seaport delivery

  • Support delivery logistics by prepping orders for the van driver

You're a Great Fit If You:

  • Have experience in a kitchen, bakery, or production environment (leadership experience preferred)

  • Are detail-oriented, reliable, and calm under pressure

  • Can confidently manage team workflows and daily priorities

  • Know your way around food handling, prep, and kitchen sanitation standards

  • Are able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet throughout the shift

  • Can commit to full 8-hour shifts at least 4–5 days/week

  • Bonus: Delivery van experience, food safety and food allergen trained (ServSafe or equivalent) are helpful but not required.
