SUMMARY:
The Driver is responsible for the company vehicles to transport clients to aftercare placements, treatment related appointments, recreational activities, and from referral points to the program site. Must have a Current valid Massachusetts Driver’s License.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Experience driving a variety of vehicles including multi-passenger vans.
- Working knowledge of Massachusetts’s traffic laws.
- Ability to relate effectively with patients in a treatment setting.
- Knowledge of basic treatment or twelve-step concepts and ability to support basic recovery goals.
- Positive report from Registry of Motor Vehicles on Driver Record Check.
- Comply with all road and vehicle safety and maintenance regulations.
- Interact with clients in a positive manner to support recovery plans.
- Participate in required educational and in-service training programs, including CPR and First Aid.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, Experience, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Education: High School Diploma.
- Experience: Experience driving a variety of vehicles including multi-passenger vans.
- Skills: Ability to interact with addiction patients with sensitivity and in a non-judgmental manner.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Valid clean Massachusetts Driver’s License.
