We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Pest Control Sales
Salesperson to join our growing team. This role is responsible for identifying and securing
new commercial accounts, promoting pest management services, and building long-term
relationships with business clients across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Proactively identify and pursue new commercial sales opportunities through cold calling, door-to-door canvassing, networking, referrals, and inbound leads.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to identify pest control needs and provide tailored service solutions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations that address client concerns and highlight the value of company offerings.
- Negotiate contract terms and close new accounts, ensuring profitable and sustainable agreements.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction, renewals, and referrals.
- Serve as the main point of contact for commercial clients, responding promptly to questions, concerns, and service requests.
- Collaborate with service technicians, service supervisors, and branch managers to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded post-sale.
- Conduct periodic account reviews and site visits to reinforce value and identify opportunities for service expansion.
- Market & Industry Knowledge
- Maintain current knowledge of pest control services, industry trends, and regulatory requirements impacting commercial clients.
- Understand the unique needs of various industries (e.g., food service, property management, healthcare) and align solutions accordingly.
- Monitor local market dynamics and competitor offerings to inform sales strategies.
Communication & Collaboration
- Work cross-functionally with operations, customer service, and field service teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client experience.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, coworkers, and leadership throughout the sales process.
- Provide feedback to internal teams regarding customer needs, preferences, and market trends.
Sales Tracking & Reporting
- Utilize CRM software to document all client interactions, proposals, service agreements, and sales activities.
- Monitor and report on personal sales metrics and performance, contributing to monthly and quarterly sales forecasts.
- Identify areas for improvement and adjust sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals.
Compliance & Ethical Selling
- Ensure all sales activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and ethical standards.
- Clearly communicate service capabilities and limitations, avoiding overpromising or misrepresentation. Support a reputation of professionalism, integrity, and service excellence in all
client interactions.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in pest control, janitorial, facilities management, or related industries.
- Strong prospecting and closing skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to travel within assigned territory.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree a plus.
- Knowledge of pest control services and regulations is preferred but not required
