Seeking dishwasher Friday and Saturday 11p-1a. Yes only 2 hours. More shifts will be available in the future. Must have experience and attention to detail. Things like not using a metal sponge on plastic, not letting wood soak in water, know how to operate a dishwasher, etc.
Summary
The Dishwasher supports a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen by washing dishes, cookware, utensils, and equipment. This role helps ensure the kitchen has the supplies needed for smooth meal service and follows sanitation and workplace safety procedures.
Dishwasher responsibilities
Responsibilities include operating dishwashing equipment; washing, rinsing, and sanitizing dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans; sorting and storing clean items; and keeping dishwashing areas, floors, and equipment clean and organized. The Dishwasher may also remove trash, restock supplies, assist with basic kitchen tasks, and notify a manager when equipment or supplies need attention.
Kitchen teamwork and service
The Dishwasher works with cooks, kitchen staff, servers, and managers to keep clean dishes and equipment available during service. This role communicates clearly, follows directions, and helps maintain an organized, respectful kitchen environment.

Are you dependable, attentive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen? Can you stay organized, manage repetitive tasks, and support the team during busy service periods? Previous dishwashing, restaurant, or food service experience is helpful, but training may be available.
Dishwasher qualifications
The successful candidate can follow sanitation and safety procedures, use dishwashing equipment appropriately, and work effectively as part of a team. The role may require standing and moving for extended periods and lifting or carrying dishes and supplies. Any legally required food handler certification must be obtained and maintained.
Work environment
This position works in a busy commercial kitchen with frequent movement, noise, heat, wet floors, cleaning products, and interaction with team members. The Dishwasher is expected to follow workplace safety, food sanitation, and company procedures at all times.
