Position Title: Product Support Sales Representative

Location(s): Avon MA (covering Plymouth, Barnstable, Dukes, and Nantucket Counties)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Calling on customers daily and becoming a welcomed visitor to the customer's place of business by providing a value-added experience.
- Visiting with customers to help resolve part-related issues or problems they are experiencing with a machine, that may generate service work.
- Support and promote the use of company offered OEM (original equipment manufacturer) Parts & Service, as well as quoting aftermarket product lines as a solution.
- Preforming Undercarriage evaluations for customers and generating status reports that provide wear insight and recommendations of parts replacements.
- Identify sales opportunities by assessing customers’ equipment visually, both scheduled and unscheduled.
- Preparing and presenting quotes to customers for all parts, attachments and service-related jobs.
- Working with Service Managers to prepare and quote in the field or in-shop service work for their customers.
- Ensuring customers are informed and up to date with current OEM programs, promotions, and services that the company offers.
- Assist with larger parts deliveries as a way of providing a value-added customer visit, which can lead to potential sales.
- Building upon existing customer base and creating new customers through social networking.
- Review expiring warrantees and expiring maintenance reports to promote and sell extended agreements.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / ATTRIBUTES
- General overall knowledge of the heavy equipment industry and machinery.
- Excellent communication skills, including an awareness of others and effective listening abilities.
- Basic computers skills – Microsoft Office, CDK, Zoom & Teams
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, business email writing and multitasking.
- The qualities required to work largely unsupervised consisting of self-motivation, time management, schedule management and achieving goals set by management.
- The ability to create and deliver sales presentations in an effective and professional manner.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass an insurance background check.
- High School Diploma or associate’s degree
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Pass a Drug and background screening.

WORKING CONDITIONS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand, and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend time traveling to their territory to meet with customers in person. Ability to periodically lift up to 50 pounds.
