These backgrounds are essential as they align with the nature of the role.We’re seeking a Plant Operations Manager to oversee daily operations an industrial manufacturing company in Ayer. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient production while maintaining the highest standards of quality, environmental compliance, and equipment performance.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:Oversee day-to-day operations of automated production systems and equipment
Lead, coach, and schedule a small team (3 employees) to ensure productivity, safety, and quality
Operate production machinery and heavy equipment as needed to support daily workflow
Assist machine operators on the floor and troubleshoot basic issues to keep production running smoothly
Maintain compliance with OSHA, DEP, and environmental/safety requirements
Analyze production, downtime, and performance data to identify process improvements using LEAN concepts
Ensure facility readiness to accept incoming materials and deliver finished products on time
Support special projects that improve efficiency, sustainability, and plant performance
