Your impact

In this role, you orchestrate the rhythm of a production cell: aligning people, equipment, and process to deliver compliant product on time. You’ll coach associates, validate that machines and equipment meet inspection plan requirements, and keep the workspace spotless and safe each day.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate all activities within the assigned cell; provide hands-on leadership and training.
  • Operate work centers/assembly stations and set up equipment (tables, fixtures, etc.).
  • Manage production reporting and transactions within IQMS and related platforms.
  • Maintain clean, organized areas; lead 6S and Lean initiatives.
  • Evaluate procedures/work instructions; propose updates that improve flow and efficiency.
  • Partner with Engineering on new project setups and process flows.
  • Train to and run secondary automation equipment as required.
  • Apply root cause analysis to quickly resolve quality or process issues.
  • Inspect product and rapidly identify defects to ensure compliance.
  • Complete line clearances and documentation; pack, weigh, and label parts correctly.
  • Support work order changes; ensure paperwork/labels match physical counts.
  • Escalate concerns about part quality and paperwork compliance appropriately.
  • Track performance to standards; sustain efficiency, housekeeping, and a safe environment, including learning ‘Lock Out Tag Out’ as an affected employee.
  • Exemplify consistent attendance and professionalism; perform additional duties as needed.

What sets you up for success

  • High School Diploma or GED; 2+ years in manufacturing operations.
  • Exceptional prioritization, multitasking, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow written work instructions; fluent in speaking, reading, and comprehending English.
  • Self-motivated; mechanical aptitude required.
  • Leadership background preferred; strong communication, computer, and math skills.
