Job DescriptionMetro Services is immediately hiring a Lead Injection Molding Operator for a Manufacturing company in North Dartmouth, MA. This is a temp-to-hire position. Apply Now!
Duties for this position include:
- Operate and maintain multiple injection molding machines, including startup, shutdown, troubleshooting, and adjustments to optimize production
- Coordinate with the Manufacturing Manager on production activities related to assembly, coating, and stamping
- Conduct regular quality checks on parts produced, identify and report any quality issues
- Ensure adherence to ISO 9000 standards and quality control procedures
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the injection molding crew, communicate production goals, and lead daily morning meetings
- Deliver regular crew talks on safety, quality, and process improvements
- Promote safe work practices and behaviors within the team
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, follow SOPs, and suggest improvements
- Complete daily production reports for each machine, accurately recording production data
- Sustain 5S principles in the work area
Compensation (USD):
$35.00/hour
Schedule:
2nd ShiftMonday - Friday2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
Will train on 1st shift6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in injection molding a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating injection molding machines
- Strong knowledge of injection molding processes
- Ability to troubleshoot machine issues
- Experience with assembly, coating, and stamping (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Knowledge of ISO 9000 standards
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
