Position Purpose
Provide quality service and a full range of administrative and operations support activities which require a working knowledge of Company procedures and practices as they relate to assigned responsibilities. Delivery of accurate records, filings, and all information relating to the Plant Assets of Northern Utilities. Assignments must be completed in a professional manner at all times.

Maintain internal records, work orders, and generate correspondence/required reports relating to all NU Gas Plant Assets. Data inputs and timely closing of all NU blankets and projects meeting all monthly and year end closing dates of Plant Accounting.

Ensure timely and professional completion of assigned reports, State Filings and correspondence. Information updates into various sustems such as TED, Compliance Data Base, UPS, Transportation, ODI, Enquesta etc as assigned. Maintenance and assistance with all office equipment, ordering of supplies.

Responsible for the effectiveness of departmental controls; fosters an appropriate control environment including understanding and appreciation of critical controls, control activities, controls monitoring, risk assessment, information and communication. Designs, monitors and owns control activities that are integral to internal business processes; assesses risks and implements improvements as needed.

Efficent and professional completion of special assignments as directed by Operations Services Supervisor for process enhancements and in fulfillment of the corportate mission.
Back up coverage in other departments, other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Associates degree with two years of experience in a business environment or equivalent business related experience.
- Must have strong background in the use of personal computers and business applications software.
- Must possess strong organizational skills and be detail oriented. Must maintain the confidentiality of business actions and activities in matters deemed to be of a sensitive nature by the Company.
- Employ a positive and professional approach in all areas of responsibility.
- Be available to perform duties to support efforts during times of system emergencies.
