We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Generalist to support core HR operations for a non-profit organization in the Holyoke area. This role will contribute across employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, and day-to-day HR support while helping maintain accurate records and responsive service for employees and managers. Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day human resources support across employee relations, administrative processes, and employee lifecycle activities.

• Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including documentation, orientation scheduling, and readiness for a smooth start.

• Administer benefits-related tasks by assisting employees with enrollments, updates, and general program questions.

• Maintain HR records and employee data in HRIS platforms, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely updates.

• Partner with managers and staff to address workplace concerns, explain policies, and support consistent HR practices.

• Prepare HR documentation and reports while helping ensure compliance with company procedures and employment requirements.

• Assist with general HR administration, including filing, record maintenance, and follow-up on routine personnel matters.

• Experience working in a Human Resources Generalist or similar HR support role.
• Practical knowledge of employee relations, onboarding, and benefits administration.
• Hands-on experience using HRIS systems to manage employee information and HR records.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities accurately and efficiently.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with a detail-oriented and service-oriented approach.
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
• Familiarity with standard HR administrative processes, documentation, and recordkeeping practices.
