Job Description

The Production Associate / Soldering Technician manufactures coils and assembles finished products while performing assigned soldering processes in a fast-paced, high-quality manufacturing environment. This role involves soldering components, configuring cabling and wiring, and ensuring that all products meet strict production and quality system requirements. The position is ideal for individuals with strong hand dexterity who are comfortable working with small hand tools and eager to learn multiple functions across the production floor.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture coils and assemble finished products in accordance with production control documentation and process specifications.
  • Perform soldering of components, including through-hole and/or small parts, following established procedures and quality standards.
  • Configure cabling and wiring assemblies, ensuring correct routing, terminations, and labeling as trained.
  • Use small hand tools to perform precision mechanical assembly and winding of small parts.
  • Ensure all work meets current quality requirements and comply with all Quality System standards for assigned tasks.
  • Document time accurately to appropriate manufacturing orders and follow all production rules and documentation requirements.
  • Assist with the movement of materials through workstations to maintain smooth product flow across the production floor.
  • Properly label all bins, trays, and work-in-process materials to maintain clear identification and traceability.
  • Perform inspection of work output to verify conformance to specifications and promptly identify any defects or issues.
  • Cross-train and perform multiple functions across the floor, including assembly, soldering, wiring, and mechanical tasks as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in alignment with workplace standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to support continuous improvement and production efficiency.

  • Capability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Willingness and ability to cross-train across multiple areas, including assembly, soldering, wiring, and mechanical tasks.
  • Commitment to producing high-quality work and following all Quality System requirements.
  • Good work tenure demonstrating reliability and consistency in previous roles.
  • Strong record of reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing approximately 20–30 pounds.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Entry-level candidates are welcome if they demonstrate strong hand dexterity and a willingness to learn.
  • Comfort learning soldering techniques, cabling, and wiring configuration through on-the-job training.
  • Interest in working with products used in electronics, semiconductor, military, and commercial applications.
  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions related to production control documentation.
  • Motivation to contribute ideas and input toward process and product improvements.

Work Environment

The role is based on an open-concept manufacturing floor with separate workstations for each employee, where products flow from station to station throughout the production process. The facility maintains a bright, clean environment and uses small hand tools and production equipment suitable for precision assembly, soldering, wiring, and mechanical tasks. The standard schedule is Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with Fridays reserved for overtime as needed. Employees work in a structured yet collaborative setting that emphasizes safety, organization, and efficient material flow across the floor.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Concord, NH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
