Are you an experienced tax professional with a passion for navigating the complexities of international taxation? Our private investment firm client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented International Tax Manager to join their team. This is a unique opportunity for an accomplished professional to contribute significantly to global tax planning and compliance while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a pivotal member of the Tax Department, focusing on supporting firm partners and employees residing and/or working outside the United States.
Oversee and contribute to global tax planning and compliance efforts, with a dual focus on employer- and employee-related strategies:
Manage external advisors to interpret, integrate, and adapt international tax regulations and guidance.
Facilitate smooth implementation of planning strategies across multiple jurisdictions.
Develop a strong working knowledge of international and cross-border taxation principles.
Ensure alignment of tax planning strategies with the firm's Global Tax Framework and strategic objectives.
Collaborate with internal teams, including Human Resources, Finance, and Legal, to evaluate and quantify tax implications for international and cross-border assignments.
Design, document, and maintain effective planning strategies and tax solutions that adhere to best practices and complement the operating model of the firm's Partner Tax Services team.
Qualifications:
Required Expertise:
Proven experience in Cross-Border Taxation or Global Mobility Services.
Familiarity with tax research platforms and tools such as Thomson Reuters Checkpoint and other digital research engines.
Skill Set:
Strong analytical abilities to apply advanced tax knowledge to new and evolving scenarios, delivering innovative and practical solutions.
Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to manage priorities independently and effectively.
Proficient written and verbal communication skills with a consistent track record of professional excellence.
A team-oriented mindset with enthusiasm for collaboration across departments and jurisdictions.

Requirements:
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Professional Experience: 6-10 years of relevant individual international tax experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance
- 5-10 years of relevant individual international tax experience (“Cross Border” “Global Mobility Services” exposure)
- High Net Worths experience is preferred, but not mandatory
