Join our team as a Laundry Pickup & Delivery Driver, where you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive prompt, reliable laundry services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine excellent driving skills with exceptional customer service. You’ll be responsible for safely transporting laundry between our facility and customers’ locations, all while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and safety.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate our laundry delivery van to pick up and deliver laundry across designated routes
- Manually Load and unload laundry from customer location
- Follow established routes efficiently, utilizing mobile devices for navigation and route updates
- Adhere strictly to traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and company safety policies during all driving activities
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients professionally, answering questions, and ensuring their satisfaction upon delivery or pickup
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Assist with operations when necessary, including loading laundry into washers and moving heavy loads safely
Qualifications
- Proven delivery driver experience, preferably with courier experience
- Valid driver’s licenses
- Strong knowledge of driving safety practices, traffic laws, and DOT regulations
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform manual handling tasks regularly
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation and communication
Pay starting at $17/hr plus driver tips
