Job Description: Forklift Operator III
Locations: Devens, MA 01434
Pay Rate: $21.76/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday with possible overtime
contract: 6 months.
Available Shifts:
1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
9:00 PM – 5:00 AM
**Position Overview: **
seeking experienced Forklift Operators to support warehouse and manufacturing operations in a fast-paced corrugated packaging environment. This role is responsible for safely operating forklifts, loading and unloading trailers, moving materials throughout the facility, servicing production lines, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
**Key Responsibilities: **
* Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in a high-volume warehouse environment.
* Load and unload trailers according to customer and production requirements.
* Move and track materials throughout the facility.
* Conduct daily forklift inspections and complete safety checklists.
* Use RF scanners to receive and track inventory.
* Verify product counts, quantities, and quality.
* Deliver materials to production lines as needed.
* Stretch wrap and palletize finished products.
* Complete shipping and receiving documentation accurately.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and dock areas.
* Change propane tanks safely and assist other departments as needed.
**Requirements: **
* High School Diploma or GED.
* Valid driver's license required.
* Previous forklift experience preferred.
* Recent forklift certification preferred (training available).
* Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
* Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
* Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
* Ability to work overtime, weekends, and alternate shifts when needed.
* Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and operate equipment for extended periods.
