Our company is currently seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team!
What you'll do:
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries using Sage 50 accounting software
- Process weekly billing.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage collections
- Prepare monthly financial statements and assist with budgeting
- Support year-end closing and work with external accountants
- Help with the on-boarding of new customers and vendors
- Support the company’s daily operation by managing software renewals and supplies
- Other administrative duties and special projects as needed
- Maintain accurate records and handle confidential information with care
What we're looking for:
- Experience with any accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent reliability, communication, and confidentiality
- Willingness to learn new systems and accounting principles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team
- Available to work on-site in Auburn, MA at least 2 days/week
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong organizational skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
