Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Planner to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for the end-to-end planning of production, materials, and capacity to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of our products. You will be a key link between our operations, supply chain, and engineering teams, ensuring resources and production capacity are aligned with customer demand. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, a focus on continuous improvement, and the ability to drive on-time delivery and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production schedules for machinery, personnel, and materials, including raw materials and outside services, based on available resources and capacity.

  • Monitor and analyze capacity data, anticipating and mitigating potential constraints to maintain an efficient workflow.

  • Coordinate material and product releases in line with project timelines and production schedules.

  • Work cross-functionally to ensure the availability of all necessary resources and materials to meet production requirements.

  • Create and maintain weekly scheduling metrics to track and report on performance.

  • Proactively communicate forecasted changes and their potential impact on labor requirements to management.

  • Prioritize and manage production projects to meet strict deadlines.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing planning processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of planning experience in a manufacturing setting.

  • 5-7 years of demonstrated experience with ERP/MRP systems.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Project, and Excel.

  • Proven ability to make critical decisions and solve problems in a dynamic, high-priority environment.

  • Strong ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams.

  • Exceptional multitasking and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in the medical device or a highly regulated industry is preferred.
