Job Description
We are partnering with a large company in Lowell, MA who is looking to add a Cost Accountant to their team. This role will support cost accounting, financial analysis, and reporting within a complex, large-scale organization. The ideal candidate will have prior cost accounting experience within a large company environment, with SAP and Workday experience being a plus.

Responsibilities

- Perform cost accounting activities and analyze manufacturing costs
- Prepare and review cost reports, variances, and financial analysis
- Analyze inventory, standard costs, and production variances
- Support month-end close and prepare related journal entries and reconciliations
- Partner with operations and finance teams to improve cost controls
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Maintain accurate accounting records and support internal and external audits
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting and accounting processes

Qualifications
\n
- \n
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3-5+ years of cost accounting experience
- Large company cost accounting experience required
- Strong understanding of inventory, standard costing, and variance analysis
- SAP and/or Workday experience preferred

Compensation: $100K-$125K depending on experience, plus bonus and equity
