Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in North Andover, MA. Summary: The client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist with strong attention to detail to join their team. This position would be responsible for managing the accounts payable function, working closely with operations, purchasing, and vendor partners. Responsibilities include:\n

  • Full Cycle AP
  • \n

  • Process Improvement and ERP optimization
  • \n

  • Code vendor invoices to financial G/L
  • \n

  • Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
  • \n

  • Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
  • \n

  • Ensure proper invoice approvals are obtained prior to payment
  • \n

  • Prepare weekly and ad hoc check runs and ACH payments
  • \n

  • Review and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • \n

  • Set up and maintain accurate vendor records and W-9 documentation
  • \n

  • Tracking purchase orders
  • \n

  • Audit and reconcile expense reports in Expensify
  • \n

  • AP month-end close ownership including but not limited to accruals and journal entries
  • \n

  • Audit support
  • \n

  • Other duties and projects, as needed

  • \n

Requirements

\n

    \n
  • Associate's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
  • \n

  • 1-2 years of Accounts Payable work experience
  • \n

  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • \n

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • \n

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • \n

  • Ability to work independently and in a team; Must be able to prioritize
  • \n

  • Knowledge of NetSuite a plus

  • \n

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.\n

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.\n
