About Us
Zachary’s Breakfast & Lunch is a busy, family-friendly restaurant dedicated to providing great food and exceptional customer service. We are looking for an energetic, reliable, and customer-focused Waitress/Server to join our team.
Job Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Present menus and answer questions about food and beverage offerings
- Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the POS system
- Deliver meals and beverages in a timely manner
- Check on guests throughout their dining experience and ensure satisfaction
- Handle guest requests, concerns, and special accommodations professionally
- Process payments and complete cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and fellow team members to provide excellent service
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, positive, and professional attitude
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy periods
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Availability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to carry trays and lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to bend, reach, and move throughout the restaurant during shifts
