Full-Time | 10a-10pm (12-Hour Shifts) | Four Weekend Shifts per Month
Pay: $25.00–$28.00 per hour (based on experience)

Meredith Place Veterinary Emergency is looking for a compassionate and skilled Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our dedicated emergency team. What You'll Do

As a Certified Veterinary Technician, you'll play an essential role in providing high-quality emergency care by:

  • Assisting veterinarians with emergency examinations, treatments, and procedures
  • Providing compassionate nursing care for hospitalized patients
  • Performing venipuncture, IV catheter placement, blood draws, and laboratory sample collection
  • Administering medications and fluid therapy as directed
  • Monitoring anesthesia and assisting with surgical procedures when needed
  • Taking and positioning patients for digital radiographs and other diagnostics
  • Monitoring patient recovery and recognizing changes in patient condition
  • Educating clients on treatments, medications, and discharge instructions
  • Maintaining accurate medical records and supporting a smooth hospital workflow

What We're Looking For

  • Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) required
  • Emergency or critical care experience preferred, but motivated GP technicians are encouraged to apply
  • Strong technical skills including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, and patient care
  • Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional patient care
