PACKAGING TECHNICIAN - MANUFACTURING | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Woburn MA 01801 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $20/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
PACKAGING TECHNICIAN - MANUFACTURING | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Packaging Technician will support the inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining quality standards, completing accurate documentation, and ensuring products are packaged according to established procedures and specifications. The ideal candidate is dependable, quality-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment with strict safety and documentation requirements.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
PACKAGING TECHNICIAN - MANUFACTURING | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of products
- Inspect packaging components and remove defective materials
- Follow quality specifications and standard operating procedures
- Complete production and inventory documentation accurately
- Assist with inventory counts and batch record completion
- Perform routine cleaning of packaging stations and equipment
- Participate in safety audits and daily safety discussions
- Follow PPE and contamination control requirements
- Handle hazardous waste according to procedures
PACKAGING TECHNICIAN - MANUFACTURING | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- 6 months of industry or manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to read and follow written procedures and documentation
- Basic math and computer skills required
- Good documentation practices and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules and overtime as needed
- Comfortable working independently and within a team environment
