Job Title: Warehouse Worker / Delivery Driver
Job Description
This hybrid role combines general warehouse operations with non-CDL delivery driving using vans and box trucks. You work closely with a small team to pick and pack orders, operate material handling equipment, and support deliveries when needed. Reliability and consistent on-time attendance are essential, and you receive training on warehouse processes and equipment, including forklifts and RF scanners.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately using RF scanners and other warehouse tools.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload inventory safely.
- Load and unload trucks and delivery vehicles, ensuring items are secured and handled with care.
- Drive non-CDL vans and box trucks to complete deliveries, following all traffic and safety regulations.
- Perform general labor tasks in the warehouse, including organizing, staging, and restocking materials and boxes.
- Maintain accurate inventory by scanning, counting, and verifying materials and products.
- Support warehouse production activities to ensure orders are processed efficiently and on schedule.
- Collaborate with a team of warehouse staff to coordinate picking, packing, loading, and delivery activities.
- Follow established warehouse operations procedures and safety guidelines at all times.
- Demonstrate reliable attendance, arriving on time and being available to assist with deliveries when coverage is needed.
Essential Skills
- At least 1 year of warehouse experience, including exposure to general warehouse operations.
- 1–2 years of delivery driving experience with non-CDL vehicles such as vans or box trucks.
- Hands-on experience using RF scanners for picking, packing, and inventory tasks.
- Experience in warehouse environments, including loading and unloading trucks.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided if not fully experienced).
- Capability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving, loading, and unloading boxes and materials.
- Strong reliability and commitment to consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Basic understanding of safe driving practices and adherence to traffic laws while operating delivery vehicles.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with warehouse pick/pack processes and production workflows.
- Familiarity with inventory handling, counting, and verification procedures.
- Comfort working with a high volume of boxed materials in a busy warehouse setting.
- Willingness to be cross-trained across warehouse operations and delivery driving responsibilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a small team environment and communicate clearly with coworkers.
- Attention to detail when scanning, labeling, loading, and documenting orders.

Work Environment
You work in a packed but organized maintenance materials warehouse with a large volume of boxes and inventory. The facility maintains a comfortable temperature that is neither notably cold nor hot. You use RF scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other standard warehouse equipment, and you drive non-CDL vans and box trucks for deliveries. The environment is active and team-based, with 3–4 coworkers collaborating on picking, packing, loading, and deliveries. Dress is practical and appropriate for warehouse work and driving duties, with attention to safety and comfort.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Bedford, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
