Position Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and onboarding:
    • Act as the administrator for the applicant tracking system
    • Manage position postings
    • Draft offer letters
    • Schedule orientation and onboarding for new hires
    • Act as the HR administrator for our online training system
    • Benefits and HRIS administration:
  • Maintain employee records in our online payroll system and ensure all data is current, accurate, and complete
    • Support benefits enrollment and administration, including new hire enrollment, terminations, COBRA, coverage changes, addressing employee questions, billing and claim processing and reconciliation, and support of the annual open enrollment process
    • Process employee changes including promotions, terminations, department transfers, and compensation updates
    • Run and maintain regular HR reports, including reoccurring reports and ad hoc requests, and assist with data audits to ensure HR system accuracy and policy compliance
  • Compliance
    • Run annual background checks
    • Support audit preparation, as needed
  • Provide responsive employee support by monitoring and responding to the HR inbox
  • Support the HR team with general tasks, internal reporting, and projects as needed.

Position Qualifications:

  • BA/AS Degree OR 1–2 years of administrative HR-related experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite

Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-service mindset
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
