Water Resources Engineer – Boston, MA
A respected civil engineering firm in the Boston area is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join its growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful municipal, infrastructure, and land development projects throughout New England.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze stormwater management systems, drainage, and flood mitigation solutions
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling (H&H) for municipal and private-sector projects
- Prepare drainage reports, calculations, and permit applications
- Support site development, roadway, and utility projects with water resources design
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and regulatory agencies
- Assist with construction administration and technical reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 3+ years of water resources or stormwater engineering experience
- Proficiency with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HydroCAD, and/or SWMM
- Experience with Massachusetts permitting and DEP regulations preferred
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- EIT or PE preferred
