Description:
This role is a great opportunity to support Client’s inclusive trade compliance team and become familiar with our business model, internal systems, and import classification and compliance for a wide range of retail products. This position supports customs entry, entry auditing, as well as reporting & analytics support. You will collaborate across our Trade Compliance team as well as with our internal and external business partners such as Customs Brokers, Finance, and Logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Supports the Customs Entry & Audit teams in performing entry audits focused on broker compliance, SOX, ADD/CVD, and classification
- Supports post entry activities, reconciliation program, and recordkeeping requirements
- Participates in the establishment and maintenance of internal control procedures and SOPs
- Monitors team email inboxes and manages day-to-day correspondence
What you’ll need to be successful
To begin your career with us, you’ll have:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
- 2-4 years of import or customs brokerage experience required
- U.S. Customs Broker License preferred
- Strong familiarity with customs entry data and documentation required
- Experience in auditing entries, classification, or other import data strongly preferred
- Supply chain experience in retail preferred
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail
