Full-time, Perm

Location: Haverhill, MA
Shift: 2nd Shift | 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Pay Rate: $28.00 – $40.00/hour (based on experience)
Overtime: Paid after 8 hours (not applicable during training)

Position Overview

We are a world-class manufacturer of precision-machined aerospace components and are currently seeking a skilled 2nd Shift CNC Grinder to join our growing team in Haverhill, MA. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented machinist who thrives in a high-precision environment and takes pride in producing quality parts to tight tolerances.

The CNC Grinder will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC grinding equipment while ensuring all quality, safety, and productivity standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC grinding machines efficiently and accurately
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
  • Produce parts consistently to close tolerances and strict quality requirements
  • Perform calculations and use precision inspection tools to verify part accuracy
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug new processes or methods as required
  • Monitor and maintain oil and coolant levels daily
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Perform all duties with a strong focus on productivity and quality

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Vocational School education with hands-on machining training
  • 4–5+ years of CNC machining experience (5 years preferred)
  • Experience machining titanium, stainless steel, and high-temperature alloys
  • Ability to work within tight tolerances, including ±0.00015
  • Strong understanding of surface finishes and inspection methods
  • Proficiency with indicating and precision measurement tools
  • Working knowledge of metric to imperial conversions (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Must have U.S. permanent residency or authorized to work without restriction
