We are seeking an experienced and organized Parts & Inventory Manager to support our truck bodies and equipment operations. This role is responsible for purchasing, stocking, and distributing parts and accessories needed for upfits, repairs, and service work. The ideal candidate understands how to manage a parts department, maintain accurate inventory, and support technicians and customers efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage purchasing, receiving, stocking, and issuing of parts for truck bodies, hydraulics, PTO systems, lighting, hardware, and related equipment
• Maintain accurate inventory records, including cycle counts and reconciliation
• Forecast demand and track usage trends to prevent shortages or delays in builds/service
• Coordinate with service and production teams to ensure timely parts availability
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships to secure competitive pricing and lead times
• Improve parts room organization, labeling, and inventory control processes
• Assist with customer parts inquiries and counter sales when needed
Qualifications:
• 3+ years experience in parts, inventory, or supply chain management (truck/auto/heavy equipment preferred)
• Working knowledge of truck bodies, upfit components, and related systems a plus
• Familiarity with inventory/ERP systems
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
