Role Description The CBRN Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Taunton, MA, focused on protecting personnel and equipment from chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear hazards. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting CBRN detection and monitoring, performing surveys and sampling, operating specialized protective and detection equipment, and maintaining decontamination systems. The role involves preparing and delivering briefings and reports, supporting training exercises, and assisting in the development and implementation of safety protocols. CBRN Specialists collaborate with other units and agencies, respond to incidents and simulated emergencies, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and procedures.\n
Qualifications

Strong foundation in the chemical industry or chemical engineering, with the ability to understand CBRN agents, materials, and related processes.

Analytical skills to assess hazards, interpret data, and make informed decisions during CBRN detection, monitoring, and response activities.

Effective communication skills to convey technical information clearly, collaborate with teams, and provide briefings and training.

Laboratory skills for handling samples, following safety protocols, and supporting testing or analysis related to CBRN operations.

Ability to follow detailed procedures, maintain equipment, and adhere to safety and regulatory requirements.
