Chicopee, MA | $20/hour | Temp-to-Hire
We are hiring an Assembler for an onsite manufacturing opportunity in Chicopee, Massachusetts. This role involves assembling products, preparing materials, and inspecting finished work. No previous experience is required.
Pay: $20 per hour
Employment Type: Temp-to-hire
Schedule: Second shift. Anticipated hours are 3:30 PM–1:00 AM; exact hours and workdays are pending confirmation.
Responsibilities

Assemble products according to specifications and work instructions.

Use hand and power tools, including nail guns.

Prepare and organize materials for production.

Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.

Stack, label, and band completed products.

Complete required production records.

Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety procedures.
Qualifications

Sixth-grade education or equivalent.

Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.

Ability to follow instructions.

Basic English reading and communication skills.

Ability to use or learn assembly tools, including nail guns.

Ability to stand for most of the shift and frequently handle materials weighing more than 25 pounds.

Required pre-employment drug screening.

No previous experience required; six months of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
