Job Description
Job DescriptionDescription:
- Read blueprints, schematics, or other documentation to build products to specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to assemble products.
- Keep track of tools, parts, and supplies, and contact materials handlers when needed.
- Regularly inspect products to ensure they meet quality and completion standards, and resolve any issues
- Communicate with other stations on the assembly line, and with supervisors, leads, and engineers
- Complete forms, reports and other documentation per assembly instructions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent hand-eye coordination required.
- Strong attention to detail required.
- Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
- Flexibility to change tasks to meet schedule demands.
- Proficiency in reading and writing in English is essential for understanding technical documents, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma, trade school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year of related manufacturing experience preferred.
