Job DescriptionDescription:
- Oversee the scheduling and timeliness of the production process to ensure all deadlines are met.
- Plan, schedule and monitor production of products.
- Determine production capacity and limits.
- Evaluate raw materials and equipment to ensure both are in place for production.
- Report on the production status and any production issues to the Supervisor.
- Liaise on production disruptions and productivity problems and recommend solutions to maintain or mitigate impact to the schedule.
- Utilize data to help drive a schedule that improves productivity and cost.
- Review backlog and make recommendations to adjust resources as needed to maintain profitability goals,
Requirements:
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods.
- Ability to interact well with internal and external customers.
- In-depth knowledge of ERP software and Excel.
- Strong analytical skills.
- 3 years production planning experience in a related industry
